Course Description
Is real talk about race something your organization has avoided due to fear of saying or doing the wrong thing?
Is your organization looking for an effective way to deepen employees’ race awareness, comfort, and competency?
Does your organization want to create an environment of safety and belonging for all?
Does your organization want to re-affirm its commitment to anti-racism and inclusion?
If your answer is “yes” to any of these questions, then this is the experience your organization needs. More a journey than a course, it takes your employees from the basics of “what is race” to “how to avoid microaggressions” to “how to practice everyday anti-racism and inclusion.”
Divided into Foundation, Application, and Action, this seven-module, forty-lesson journey contains a total of 4+ hours of engaging instruction, 7+ hours of interactive “do the work” and “think it through” scenarios and assignments, tracking and measuring tools, and assessments to check understanding.
Participants are guided toward leadership transformation that has the power to shift the culture to that which is truly anti-racist and inclusive. The course drives individual transformation and the mutual sharing of insights during group discussions drives organizational transformation.
Well-Being for Life™ Course Description
This interactive course is designed to prepare participants for high performance and safeguard against burnout. With a focus on four pillars of well-being (purpose & meaning, physical wellness, belonging, and fun) and backed by decades of research, this course empowers busy professionals to prioritize well-being behaviors that support productivity, health, happiness, balance, and stress management.
The course begins with an overview of the “circle of well-being” to introduce and establish the business case for the four pillars. Participants will understand the role of purpose/values in creating a compelling “why” that promotes staying power for the long-term. The design of a work-life fit will drive alignment of behaviors that connect to and support purpose. Through an examination of nutrition, exercise, hydration, and sleep, participants will gain practical tips that support increased energy, vitality, and resilience, as well as better overall health outcomes. The importance of belonging is examined through the lens of inclusion and connection, so that participants understand how to both seek it for themselves and help to create it for others. Throughout the course, various fun components are weaved throughout to demonstrate to participants the palpable and “serious” individual and team benefits of adults at play.
Through the 3D Transformation™ process, (1) Discover Your Purpose, (2) Design Your Own Rules, (3) Dedicate Yourself to a Plan, which includes full and small-group discussion, activities/exercises, individual introspection, and one-on-one pairings, participants will be guided through an increased awareness of the importance of their own well-being. Providing practical application and strategies in order to strengthen and align well-being across body, heart, mind, and spirit, this meaningful and fun approach aligns each participant with what is most important – professionally and personally.

And though it’s frequently said that “there is no ‘I’ in team,” current engagement studies reveal however that “there is a ‘ME’ in team” – a “ME” that is critical to overall team effectiveness. In this session we emphasizes how taking care of self (life balance, health, and happiness) maximizes long-term team performance.
This session focuses on 6 main fueling strategies:
1. Fuel the body
2. Get moving
3. Reduce bad stress
4. Rest and recover
5. Seek out joy
6. Connect with others

General Summary: Imagine for a moment that a single, misguided, unintentional comment or behavior has negatively impacted a team member. And as a result, the team member grows guarded in what they say and do—feeling unsafe or reluctant to bring their whole self to work every day. This scenario is not far-fetched. In fact, research shows that engagement and performance suffer when team members feel unsafe or marginalized. The dynamics of diversity in the workplace—coupled with where each person is on their awareness journey—can create challenges for equity, inclusion, and belonging. Specifically, when behaviors that align with anti-racism and DEI are under-practiced or are overshadowed by (un)conscious biases and microaggressions, it can seriously undercut an organization’s culture. While a sustained macro-focus is essential in advancing organizational anti-racism and DEI goals, it’s not enough by itself. A truly inclusive culture happens at the micro-level, person to person, through everyday interactions. This workshop will introduce a shared language for talking about and acting on anti-racism and DEI behaviors and will include an examination of microaggressions and biases. Participants will walk away with heightened awareness and increased competencies to make anti-racism and DEI an everyday reality in the workplace.
